Players in this game will have it count 1 toward available game slots, as in other games. It will run on the usual 4-4-4-6 days cycle.
Secret Victory condition will be in play here. Game ends by the end of Turn 24 by the Lion's Share (status points) if not won by The Rex (four regions) or Secret Victory.
Please post your learnings here to help all players from your experience.

Just two more and we are all checked in.
Couple first time players in here. Be sure to work on your turns early. Your first turn will take a while. I recommend as you read through the orders write down some orders you know you will want to do for your kingdom. Then see how many you have and how much they will cost adjust accordingly.
Common 1st turn mistakes.
-Not using a 710 order to leave a sea square when your first step is a land square.
-spending all your reserve on the first turn or two and not having enough on turn 3 for all your emmisaries
-not following order sequence. All orders take effect in number order not the order you put them on the sheet.
-not using you wizards. Wizard spells are free except 799. Try to use them. Use 888 if you can not find something else.
-putting the emmisary location instead of there name
-not talking to others. Just becaus there is a region between you and a neibor no reason not to talk and reach out to others. If you do not communicate others will assume the worst.

(This post was last modified: 05-12-2014, 10:43 PM by Clavatus.)
It was evening and as the sun sank over the deserts of the Southern Sands. The interior halls of the great keep of Windamon were illuminated by a red glow that caused the veins running through the black marble floors to shine like fire. Down the halls a solitary figure walked, between the upright guards standing like statues, sharpened pole-axes festooned with gold and black dragon pennants.
The figure, a plain nondescript man, approached the throne perched on a dais that dominated the room. A small throne, merely a black stone chair with golden inlay of dragons flying on its surface. A young strong king was seated on it, his back erect, his black eyes sharp, the sun illuminating his deeply bronzed skin. Behind the throne was a great cavern, winding it’s way back into the mountain that the great keep was build into. As one’s eyes adjusted they moved past the regal figure with his crown of gold and dragon scale – to the space beyond. The space where a great bulk of shadow lay, a shadow with two great golden orbs for eyes and mouth filled with teeth like swords.
“You have come at last,” the King said in a clear voice. “As prophesied. When the Great Ones awake – He will emerge from the desert – Speaker to Kings – Counsel to Dragons.”
“I serve only the will of the Realm,” the man said. “I have spoken to the great Lords to the North in their halls of stone, and sent missive to the high Elves of the Golden Wood. There are rumbling the Gnomes have awakened and the Giants walk again, the realms of Man can no longer rule themselves. It is time for you, my King.”
“And what would you advise,” the king asked stroking his sharply pointed beard.
“It is time to be seen. Send your emissaries to the known cities. Put the dragon flights to the wing, show yourself to be merciful and powerful and see who will fall under your sway. Send the agents in other lands out to see what they can. You must find how deep the awakening goes – many will rally to the banner of black and gold.”
“and those who will not yield?”
“My king – your troops will need to be tested. The dragon riders will need to be bloodied for great leaders to be found. And also…”
A deep harsh voice no human throat could produce grated from the darkness of the cavern. “And also we need to feed.”

Do we have the same rules as Alamzae Primeval Classic? 5 groups starting turn 2 and all natural enemies?
